Using HomeSnap, you can use your smartphone to take a picture of the home you want more information on. Based on that picture, the app can tell you the home’s value, date of the last sale, price of the last sale, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, lot size and information on the local schools. For homes that are currently for sale, the app pulls real-time data from the Multiple Listing Service including the list price, pictures of the interior and complete listing details.
While this app is currently only available for Apple iOS, it will soon be available on the Android market. Sawbuck Realty, an online real estate broker, is the company behind this tech-friendly home information app.

Acadia Homes Website has Cool New Tools!

Competition Heats Up Between HBAs

We are standing at the sidelines ready to cheer on Home Builders Associations across the U.S. as they compete to win a free hands-on social media seminar from Carol Flammer, author of the 2010 best selling NAHB BuilderBooks “Social Media for Home Builders: It’s Easier Than You Think.”
In the four hour Social Media Lab, Carol will teach the basics of social media including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Blogging.
